YouTube users can now share videos taken from cell phones! It is quite simple to do. Just follow these steps.
- Create a free account at YouTube (If you already have an account you may skip to step 2). To create an account, simply click "sign up" and provide the information required. You will be asked to choose account type, enter your email address, choose a user name, create a password, and provide your country, postal code, gender and date of birth.
Once you have completed this form, you will receive an email containing a link which will allow you to verify your email address.
- Create a mobile profile. Once you have successfully verified your email address, you will need to create your mobile profile. Go to your "Account" page, and click the grey button that says "Create Mobile Profile". You will be asked for your phone number and mobile service provider. Once you submit this information, you will instantly be given an email address which you will use to send your videos to (it will look similar to this: 222222222222@mms.youtube.com).
- Upload Your Videos To YouTube! All you have to do is email the video to the address you were given upon creating your mobile profile in step 2.
Once you have uploaded your video, you may login to your YouTube account and edit information pertaining to the video.
