Drink up! You have heard it over and over again. Drink lots of water. Water keeps your body and skin hydrated and healthy. Aim to drink 8 glasses of water a day.
Avoid excessive sun exposure. The UV rays (ultraviolet rays) from the sun can damage skin. If you are out at the beach, wear sunscreen. If you are not sure what number SPF protection to get, make sure to read and follow the directions on the sunscreen's label before you apply it.
Use moisturizer. Replenish your skin with moisturizer. Also, there are several different kinds of over-the-counter creams that can be used to help firm skin and decrease the appearance of wrinkles.
Eat healthily. Make sure you eat well-balanced meals and provide your body with the vitamins and minerals it needs. Antioxidants are key to promoting healthy skin. Antioxidant foods contain vitamins A,C, and E, such as carrots and tomatoes.
